The Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment Regional Events Promotion Fund (REPF) is an annual fund first established in 2024 to support the promotion of regional events to the domestic market. The fund aims to encourage regional dispersal and increase visitor spending in the regions, with an additional focus on encouraging seasonal dispersal by promoting events outside of the peak summer season.
This fund is currently closed to applications but will reopen in early 2025 for events taking place between 1 July 2025 and 30 June 2026.
NZ Cider Festival 2024, The Spectacle 2024, Marchfest 2025.
