The Food & Beverage Partner Programme is designed to support our reputation as a 'foodie paradise'. The broad sector accounts for over 70% of Nelson Tasman exports.
International tourists to Nelson Tasman spent $57 million on food and beverage at restaurants, cafes, and bars last year; but their spend doesn’t stop with their visit with a further $16 million a year of exports through ex-visitors continuing to buy Nelson Tasman food and beverage products from overseas once they return!
The Food & Beverage Partner Programme is designed to support a common goal of growing our reputation as a ‘foodie’s paradise’, a region where we achieve everything from growing primary produce to developing innovative food and beverage products and providing exceptional culinary experiences.
Business partnerships enable the NRDA to coordinate marketing activity, maintain a leading online presence, and provide business and event support. We aim to generate connection, collaboration, and confidence within the Food and Beverage community, so that all participants benefit from involvement.
