Enjoy the good life in the heart of the Nelson Tasman region. Idyllic lodge in peaceful rural setting close to Richmond. Sleeps up to 16 (+4 in a separate, self-contained cottage). Perfect setup for family gatherings, corporate retreats and groups.
Peaceful lodge on working orchard with beautiful sunny rooms, friendly hosts & amazing views. While purposely rough and rustic on the outside, the lodge building follows clean lines and is designed to a high spec inside. 7 bedrooms - 2 with ensuite bathrooms. The remaining rooms share two full bathrooms and one toilet. Unique modern kitchen made from recycled timber, large dining area with large farmhouse table and a wood burner for the cooler nights. Large sunny verandah with a 6 burner BBQ and a great garden area. The perfect spot to laze in the sun on a bean bag. Wifi throughout. Separate self-contained Shearer's Cottage available. We minimise and mitigate our carbon emissions and are aiming to become carbon zero in the near future.

Other Charges
$300 cleaning fee applies unless guests are happy to leave the lodge clean and tidy.
Cancellation Policy
50% of the total booking price is refundable if we receive the cancellation notice more than 60 days before the scheduled date of arrival. Bookings cancelled less than 60 days before the scheduled date of arrival, no refund can be made. Specific exemption relating to the COVID-19 pandemic (applicable to guests originating from New Zealand only): Should it be unsafe/not permitted to stay at The Pear Orchard Lodge at your original booking dates, bookings can be deferred free of charge.
