To kayak the entire length of the Abel Tasman should be on everyone’s bucket list. It is a true sea kayaking destination suitable for those with a sense of adventure and a love of nature. You'll encounter wildlife and sea life and see amazing rock formations and islands.You must have some outdoor experience, be able to read a map and be comfortable with the natural elements. To kayak the length of the Abel Tasman is very achievable, you will need a minimum of 2 nights and 3 days, if you want to spoil yourself take longer. (It's around 11-13 hours paddle time). Leave from Tata Beach and pick up from Marahau.

Minimum number of two people. Stable double kayaks are provided, for that extra person we do have singles available. You need to be water confident and have paddling experience. You need to be comfortable in an outdoor environment, understand how to read a map and understand how to look after yourself in the outdoors. Cancellation Policy

We understand that plans change. This is our baseline cancellation policy. 1 week prior to departure 75% cancellation fee 48 hrs prior to departure no refund If the trip is cancelled due to bad weather there will be a $2 booking fee only.
