An artist-owned working studio gallery, featuring controversial New Zealand artist Nikki Romney. Social-political, non-PC realism in oils, and also 'Punktique' found art sculptures and objects.
One of the few artists currently employing traditional fine art skills to produce contemporary works with a social or political message regardless of prevailing ideas and trends. Women's issues, gender, cultural or religious hypocrisy, power and control... these are some of the issues that have informed Nikki's recent work.
Also producing a range of found artworks under Nikki's 'Punktique' label, a bit steampunky at times or even risque, always fun and quirky.
