The jetty that enters the stunning glacial waters of Lake Rotoiti is quite possibly one of the most regularly photographed locations in the wider Nelson Tasman region. From the view of the snow-capped mountains in winter to wharf-jumping in the summer, vibrant sunsets in the autumn, and stargazing in spring, the scenery here is stunning to capture all year round.
But walking down the jetty isn’t the only reason to visit the lake. There are plenty of walking tracks around the water's edge, including a day trip to the 40-meter Whisky Falls. Boating, waterskiing, fishing, swimming, and kayaking are also popular activities for those who want to get amongst the water's surroundings.
