Owen River Lodge - Fly Fishing Guides

The secret to maximising your fishing experience is to use an experienced fly fishing guide. Due in part to the clarity of the water, the “canniness” of our brown trout and the fact that these monster brown trout sparsely populate our rivers, we absolutely recommend you use the services of one of our highly experienced fishing guides.

At Owen River Lodge, we are very proud of our team of fishing guides, we think they're the best team of fishing guides ever assembled in New Zealand. All our fishing guides are professional full time fishing guides. All our guides are members of the NZPFGA – New Zealand Professional Fishing Guides Association.

Conditions

Costs include GST, flies, transport; but do not include a fishing license (which we can provide at the lodge) The New Zealand government has now mandated that all international travelers to New Zealand have to be double vaccinated against Covid 19. If you’re unable to make a trip due to official government travel restrictions implemented because of the Covid-19 coronavirus, all payments will be credited to a future stay at Owen River Lodge. This credit will be valid for 24 months.

Cancellation Policy

Owen River Lodge is a small boutique lodge & cancellations affect us greatly. If your reservation is cancelled within 90 Days of arrival there will be a charge of 25% of the accommodation & guiding. Within 60 Days of arrival, there will be a charge of 50% Within 45 Days of arrival, there will be a charge of 75% Within 30 Days of arrival, there will be a charge of 100% We strongly advise guests to take out travel insurance to protect themselves against unexpected changes to their travel plans.
