Sprig + Fern Māpua Tavern

Owned and operated by Peter Fry and Sue Bloomfield, their vision for the old building was brought to life. It is now a firm favourite for both locals and visitors, whether it’s for a proper pint of award-winning craft beer and cider or a bite to eat from the extensive (and delicious) menu.

Alongside the beer taps, we offer a range of wine, spirits, and soft drinks. Our wines are predominantly sourced locally from the Moutere, Motueka, and Waimea regions. Soft drinks include the delicious non-alcoholic Sprig + Fern Ginger Beer, a range of fizzy drinks, and fruit juices. Tea and coffee are also available.

For entertainment, don’t miss the Quiz Night, held every Wednesday at 7.30 pm (with the exception of the busy summer months).

With a spacious and warm interior and a sunny decking area, Sprig + Fern Māpua offers plenty of space for comfort.
