Whakatū Nelson’s six-week-long festival of culture, Tuku 25 Whakatū, aims to tuku (share) sto-ries of people and place from across the region.

Renowned for celebrating Nelson’s wide cultural diversity, this year’s festival starts on 23 March 2025 with wide array of events, from exploring Māori sculpture, Indian craft traditions and even a cemetery tour.
